1. WARRANTY POLICY
1.1 Warranty Scope
ASM Store guarantees that all products sold are free from manufacturing and material defects under normal conditions of use and correct installation.
1.2 Warranty Periods
MECHANICAL AND ENGINE PARTS:
- Suspension, brakes, steering: 30 calendar days
- Pumps (water, steering, oil): 30 calendar days
- Valves, bushings, gaskets: 30 calendar days
- Filters, belts, tensioners: 30 calendar days
ELECTRICAL PARTS (Special Limited Warranty):
- Alternators, starters, sensors, modules: 15 calendar days
- Coils, relays, switches: 15 calendar days
OEM ORIGINAL PARTS (Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler):
- Warranty: 30 calendar days
- Special conditions (see section 1.8)
ASM BRAND PRODUCTS:
- Extended warranty: 30 calendar days
The warranty starts from the date of product delivery to the customer (according to electronic invoice and shipping guide).
1.3 What Does the Warranty Cover?
The warranty covers only:
✓ Manufacturing defects verifiable in laboratory
✓ Material defects verifiable in laboratory
✓ Premature failures under proper use per specifications
✓ Products that do not function correctly from origin
1.4 What Is NOT Covered by the Warranty?
The warranty does NOT cover under any circumstances:
✗ Incorrect or inadequate installation
✗ Incorrect vehicle diagnosis
✗ Incorrect information provided by the customer (make, model, year, engine)
✗ Purchase of incompatible product for the application
✗ Damage caused by misuse, negligence or abuse
✗ Unauthorized modifications to the product
✗ Normal wear and tear
✗ Damage caused by accidents, impacts or collisions
✗ Damage caused by other defective vehicle components
✗ Use in applications different from those specified
✗ Damage from exposure to extreme conditions (excessive heat, cold, humidity)
✗ Products with broken or altered security seals
✗ Lack of preventive vehicle maintenance
✗ Use of inappropriate lubricants, fuels or fluids
✗ Products that work correctly but do not solve the vehicle problem (because the diagnosis was incorrect)
1.5 Special Conditions by Product Type
1.5.1 ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS - Special Limited Warranty
Period: 15 days due to the highly sensitive nature of these components.
MANDATORY conditions for validity:
✓ Installation by a qualified automotive electrical technician
✓ Prior voltage verification of the system (12V/24V as applicable)
✓ Wiring and connection check before installation
✓ Alternator/regulator test before installing starter (or vice versa)
✓ Cleaning of terminals and connections
IMPORTANT: Electrical products require professional diagnosis. Most automotive electrical failures are NOT the alternator or starter, but cables, ground, battery or regulator. ASM Store offers free technical advice before purchase.
1.5.2 FUEL PUMPS - Mandatory Condition
Warranty for fuel pumps is conditional on:
✓ Complete cleaning of fuel tank before installation
✓ Fuel filter replacement (mandatory)
✓ Inspection of fuel lines
✓ Pressure regulator verification
✓ Proof of these services (mechanic shop invoice)
WITHOUT MEETING these requirements, the warranty is AUTOMATICALLY VOID.
1.5.3 ORIGINAL OEM PRODUCTS - Certified Installation
Period: 30 days with special conditions
For warranty validity REQUIRED:
✓ Installation at authorized brand workshop (highly recommended)
✓ Or installation by certified mechanic with brand experience
✓ Service invoice with technician name, service description and workshop stamp
1.6 Requirements to Make Warranty Valid
To make the warranty valid, the customer must meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Present original purchase invoice (physical or electronic)
- Contact ASM Store within the warranty period
- Product in evaluable condition (can be installed but removable)
- Provide complete information: order/invoice number, clear photos of product and installation area, description of the failure, vehicle info (make, model, year, engine)
- Return product to ASM Store for physical inspection when requested
1.7 Warranty Claim Process
- Initial contact: Contact us via WhatsApp (+57 311 215 9093) or email (info@asmstoreautoparts.com) within the warranty period
- Case evaluation: Our technical team evaluates your case within 24-48 business hours
- Physical inspection: If required, send the product to our store (shipping at customer's expense)
- Resolution: Replacement or repair within 5-10 business days after inspection
1.8 Warranty Resolution Types
Depending on the case, ASM Store will offer:
✓ Product replacement with an equal or equivalent product
✓ Product repair (when applicable)
✓ Store credit for future purchases
✓ Full refund (see returns section)
2. RETURNS POLICY
2.1 Returns Period
- Returns for defect or error: 30 calendar days from delivery
- Returns for change of mind: 15 calendar days from delivery (unused, original packaging)
2.2 Conditions for Returns
Products eligible for return must be:
✓ In original condition (unused and undamaged)
✓ In original packaging with all accessories
✓ With purchase invoice
✓ Without signs of use, installation, or modification
Products NOT eligible for return:
✗ Products already installed on the vehicle
✗ Electrical/electronic products that have been connected
✗ Products with altered or removed security seals
✗ Products damaged by improper handling by the customer
✗ Special orders (custom orders)
✗ Products purchased more than 30 days ago
2.3 Returns Process
- Contact us via WhatsApp or email describing the reason for return
- We will confirm eligibility within 24 business hours
- Send the product to our store (shipping at customer's expense unless the error is ours)
- Once received and inspected, we process the refund within 5-7 business days
2.4 Refund Methods
Refunds are processed via the same payment method used for purchase or as store credit. Processing time: 5-15 business days depending on bank/payment platform.

Auto parts require professional installation. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation. We always recommend consulting a qualified mechanic. Our technical team is available free of charge to advise you on the correct part for your vehicle before purchase.
